A gutsy, lusty study of American inner-city life, Ain’t Supposed to Die explodes with funk-inflected song, politically outspoken and emotionally charged monologues. Wednesday, March 28, Brownie Points by Janece Shaffer, directed by Todd Kreidler
Which is more powerful: The shared experience of motherhood, or the divisiveness of racism? Five mothers are forced to face their ignorance, fears and good intentions, while navigating the worlds of judgment and tolerance.
